Digitised images of the Minute books since 1894

The Minute Books for Parish Council meetings before 2016 (sic) have been deposited at Suffolk Archives and digitised.  

Suffolk Archives are held at The Hold near the Ipswich Waterfront..

When diiigitised - Each page of the minute books was allocated a reference by the Suffolk Archives using the following format:

 EG156 B 1.X.NNN where X represents a group of years and NNN is a sequential number of the grouped pages. 

 X= 1 records the period from 1894 to 1949

 X= 2 records the period from 1949 to 1965 

 X= 3 records the period from 1965  to 1984

 X = 4 records the period from 1985 to 1994

 X= 5 records the period from 1995 to 2006

 X= 6 records the period from 2006 to 2016

Please note the most recent images appear at the top of the group. However some images are out of sequence and work to correct this in progress.

Searching the digiital images for information is not easy - particularly in the early years where the pages are not numbered nor are they dated. 

The webmaster is working to add an extra prefix to the reference mentioned above to identfiy the year the page relates and for later year minute books the official minute book page numbers.
